I'm here in The Gambia safe and sound!
Hello to you all. I'm having an amazing time with all the new scenery, food and language. It is so beautiful! I can't write for long because others are waiting for the computer but I will write more later. I can say that the urban wildlife is fun...lizards on the walls, big beautiful spiders, African vultures circling over head and I've already stepped out in the middle of the night to experience my first rain storm. I am very safe and I'm well looked after. I have no worries what so ever and already feel at home. The people are very friendly and smile easily. I have a feeling that my job will be to write and teach wildlife curriculum. I'm so in love with the idea but we will see if it's to be soon. I'm going to The Gambia coast on Sunday so my B-day will be one to remember. Again the people in my group are all wonderful and I'm happy to have them as piers. Big hugs from Africa!!! Write again soon.

Happy Birthday Amber! I know it must have been great=) I'm so glad to hear that you are safe and are enjoying your new begining in Gambia. We miss you and can't wait to hear more and eventually see pictures. Take care hun=)

i love love love u's! so glad ur ok a figured u would be but it was still good to read so. gambia sounds sweet an intriguing jealous a little essay. portland is portlandy rainy a gloomy until the past few hrs,to bad ur not here im going dancing w/nicole again u will just have to keep shakin it an show me up l8r eh. well.. sky started work today an said it was horrible, boo hoo im so happy any way)
shes GONE! I CANT believe it! jessica moved out the day before yesterday an the gloom an all that negative enegy in the apt is GONE TOO, im not suprised it took alot of cleaning an sage though. wed is the ultra sound OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! i can hardly wait. i LOVE an miss u* i should go im at a friends peace out hero.
